\nAnyone tapped into the pulse or keeping score of modern electronic music has probably heard of Timo Garcia. Straddling the fine line between underground darling and big room, big tune dance floor arsonist, his numerous releases on the circuit’s biggest and best labels has been well documented. In addition to all this, Timo is the man behind the excellent Berwick Street Records imprint, which is another yet another vehicle for his creative excursions.<\/p>\n

\nHis consistency in the studio has culminated in \u2018Wonderlust Bug\u2019; his acclaimed debut artist album with some of the world\u2019s biggest names queuing up to recommend it\u2026

\nBut talk is cheap, action stands out, and Timo comes up trumps again! 2010 saw the release of a double CD, littered with remixes from his album tracks by production heavyweights that include DJ Pierre, Onionz, Eric Kupper and James Harcourt. It is a testament to Timo\u2019s calibre that such big names are ready to remix his work and is a pleasant shift from him doing the remixing \u2013 his deft touch can be heard on remixes of such luminaries as Leftfield, Justice, DJ Pierre, Louis Vega, Danny Howells and Ian Brown and he is constantly on the lookout for ways to add his inimitable sound to wide-ranging projects.<\/p>\n

\nHis razor sharp productions and great experience have seen him become as in-demand an engineer as remixer and producer. This demand is not confined to mere mortals like you and I, nor is it restricted to his own successful label. His infamy has spread among the label bosses who set the trends and create the future-heroes of our worlds. Yoshitoshi, Nervous, Veryverywrongindeed and Dieb Audio are but four of the world-famous imprints who have clamoured to get a piece of Timo\u2019s brilliance.<\/p>\n

\nHe sees his Berwick Street tag as a means to champion other talent too and has proved this recently with the signing and backing of Smokin\u2019 Jo\u2019s Trnsstr project, as well as support for Sasse, Yousef, Kenny Hawkes and other established and new artists.<\/p>\n

\nIt seems incredible that he still has time to DJ around the world and hold down his residency at the globally revered Ministry of Sound club, and this summer sees him play the Ministry\u2019s main stage at London\u2019s biggest Dance music festival \u2018South West Four\u2019; but this is a man who has both a dedication and a love for his craft and this is something that he exudes, whether behind the decks or in the studio.<\/p>\n

\nWhether you like your music to be played in the comfort of your own home, in grimy underground sweat-holes, or in extravagant and celebrious locales, the sublime and sensual sounds of Timo Garcia are guaranteed to deliver.\n<\/p>\n
